1. Overview

You have just recorded your album, gave birth to your innermost creativity and soul, but you have nowhere to sell it... WRONG! You can sell your whole album as MP3's through ThatGig and the best part is that MOST OF THE MONEY IS GOING TO THE ARTIST!

ThatGig has just launched a pioneering Beta MP3 sales module where all artists can distribute their music through ThatGig without having to worry about signing your life away. ThatGig provides a transparent sales platform where artists are able to view their real time MP3 sales, and have the power to release the money to be paid into their account. ThatGig once again automates the administration by generating invoices and payment confirmations.

And if you are a fan, you will now be able to buy all the music of your favourite artists through our secure payment platform.

2. Selling your MP3's

Selling your music through ThatGig could not be easier.

Step 1 - Create a ThatGig account (Advanced) and carefully read through our online distribution contract before accepting.

Step 2 - Complete the bank compliance form and have it verified by your local bank branch. Without your verified compliance form we cannot pay your hard earned money into your account.

Step 3 - Mail us your CD to Storey House, 4 Herold Street, Stellenbosch, 7600 with this signed mp3 distribution form specifying the price of each MP3. Please include an high quality image of your album cover as well. For information about our pricing model please contact our support centre.

Step 4 - Once we have received your signed CD and form we will distribute your CD as 256 VBR MP3's encoded with LAME 3.98 on your ThatGig profile for sale.

Step 5 - When your account has accumulated sufficiently you can release your money to be paid into your bank account.

3. Buying MP3's

Buying MP3's of your favourite artists could not be easier!

Step 1 - Add your favourite tracks to your ThatGig shopping cart.

Step 2 - Once you are satisfied that your music trolley is bulked up with all your music, proceed to the checkout. If you do not have a ThatGig account yet you will guided through the sign-up process, otherwise you can log into your account using your user name (e-mail address) and password.

Step 3 - Inside your ThatGig account you will once again have to opportunity to modify your shopping cart. When you are satistied that everythig is corrct, you may proceed to the payment screen. If you have insuffient credits on your account you will be promted to top-up your account, otherwise you will be able to proceed and complete the payment.

Step 4 - Once the payment has been confirmed, you will be able to download all the tracks form your ThatGig profile. R1 will be charged for each subsequent download after the 1st successful download of a track.
