A short biography of ThatGig

ThatGig is an exciting and innovating musician-and-fan-based online booking system and MP3 sales platform. Musicians and performing artists from any genre simply upload their general information and  booking details, to be booked by event managers, club owners or basically anyone that needs a live performance event for any occasion. ThatGig has just launched a pioneering Beta MP3 sales module where all artists can distribute their music as MP3's through ThatGig non-exclusively.

ThatGig was founded in 2007. The business was born out of an absolute passion for music and performing art with a vision to empower artists and revolutionize the music industry. The engine room of ThatGig is situated in the heart of Stellenbosch. Here our amazingly intelligent, creative and dedicated team performs, designs, composes, conducts and produces coffee, ideas, poems and code at a phenomenal pace. This unfolds while dreams about changing realities dance under the oak trees.

ThatGig is built on the GivenGain and PayProp heritage of providing leading Web applications for global organisations. GivenGain and PayProp’s proven technology ensures the security, reliability, and confidentiality of ThatGig - its clients include hundreds of organisations worldwide, and thousands of payers across the world benefit from its multiple payment methods, automated email and SMS reminders, payment notifications and detailed transaction reports.
